How we make decisions - the ENERGIES within -

We are unique, having a unique combination of energies at a certain moment in time. Do you know what kind of energies you have?


 

Let me give you an example!


I remember a specific moment when I had a crisis situation that I had to manage in less than 15 minutes. After, I analysed how I solved it and I realized that I had more energies within me that allowed me to react promptly, to the point and to find the best solution.

 

First came the energy - GUILT, which made me wonder if it wasn't my fault what was happening. I didn't spend much time in that energy because I realized that I was paralyzing me and I had to find the solution first and then see if I was to be blamed for.

 

Then came the energy - AUTHORITY, which demanded that certain orders were executed and that certain solutions were put into practice.

 

Afterwards followed the energy - CALM, which imposed a calculated and calm tone, although the stress level was very high, but I realized that having this non-panic tone I will be able to get more positive results than using an alerted tone.

 

Then I had the energy- CLARITY, which wanted to see what the real facts and situations were without trying to find culprits and just see exactly what was done and what is to be done, to provide clarity and transparency at the same time!

 

Immediately after there was the energy- SATISFACTION, which after successfully solving the problem, somehow eliminated the stress and celebrated the success of solving the difficulty.

 

Then came the energy - LEARNING, who wanted to see what can be learned from here and how to improve procedures and processes, so that similar crisis will not repeat again.

 

In the end I had the energy - PROGRESS, which began to ask questions and came to this perspective of the energies we have within us and which can help us a lot if we are aware of it and it can contribute to our permanent growth !!


Following this experience, I propose you an exercise to try to observe yourself especially if you have a difficult situation...like with a grumpy boss, or a depressed colleague with whom you are forced to interact at the office, or the child who challenges you or your partner who is testing your patience, or a parent who challenges you or other similar situations to get you out of your comfort zone.


Try this exercise!


In these extreme situations, I suggest you observe yourself and analyse what kind of energy you have and where you want to stay longer. Obviously, the first exercise can be done after that moment has been overcame, but in time you may even find yourself in the midst of a crisis how you react and aim to stay more or less in a certain energy, depending on how it helps you or not. Later think about how much that energy helped you.

Any energy we have in us helps us at a given moment, but the most important thing is to first identify and see both the positive and negative aspects, so that we can amplify it and see where it brings us the biggest and more advantages.
